Welcome to the home of the Mathgrad Podcast where we discuss everyday math for everyday people. My goal is to discuss the mathematics behind many real life topics in a way that even the worst mathphobe will gain some insight.

To subscribe to this podcast click the orange and brown button on the right (the one that says rss 2.0) and follow the instructions. If you want to listen without subscribing then click the button, scroll down and hit play now. If you use itunes to get your podcasts you can also hit the itunes button.

Topics will range from the math underlying voting schemes to the mathematics of loan payments, ect. We will explore the ways in which a little bit of math knowledge can become a very powerful tool in your life.

My hope is that this podcast becomes a tool for people to empower themselves. Despite popular belief, a basic math knowledge can help you maximize your experiences in everyday life. I also would like to see this podcast become an educational tool for high school and early college students, as well as people of all ages involved in IT-related occupations.

P.S. Since 2015 I joined the http://seranking.com team so the Poadcast updates will be occasional and not as frequent. Search Engines algorithms are based in applied sciences and math in particular. My promise is to share the acquired knowledge with you, dear listener. Christopher Frederick
